Chad Jacobs

Chad Jacobs joined Bullock Legal Group with extensive experience in litigation and in legal research and writing. After clerking for two well-respected Georgia state trial court judges, Chad worked in the Post-Conviction Litigation section of the Georgia Attorney General’s office, where he personally handled more than 200 bench trials, more than 40 direct criminal appeals, and argued multiple cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Supreme Court of Georgia. 

Chad then practiced with one of the largest purely litigation law firms in the Southeast for several years, primarily defending insurers, businesses, and individuals in civil litigation actions ranging from automobile accidents, construction defects, and premises liability matters to insurance coverage disputes to commercial collections and subrogation. Chad also added to his appellate practice by personally handling cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Eleventh Circuits and the Court of Appeals of Georgia.  

Armed with these real-world litigation experiences, Chad deepened his roots in legal research and writing, spending more than a decade as a judicial staff attorney at the Court of Appeals of Georgia – the busiest intermediate appellate court in the country – drafting and editing more than 1,000 opinions in a wide variety of civil and criminal cases.  

Chad now seeks to leverage those years of experience to more directly assist those who have been injured as a result of the harmful actions of others. 

Chad earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Berry College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Chad is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Georgia and Arkansas (inactive), and in multiple additional federal courts.
